Accesses, which door should I choose for my removable building?
Accesses are more than a closing element. Depending on its use and characteristics, each warehouse may have a different type of doors, taking into account issues such as its functionality, its aesthetics or its contribution to improving the business’s own operations.
VALL’s removable warehouses and industrial tents can be equipped with all kinds of doors, but we are going to see which are the most common. However, do not be left alone with these options if you are already clear that you want another type of doors. The accesses are usually of three types:
- Pedestrian crossing
- Emergency
- exits Industrial doors for the entry of materials and vehicles.
Doors can be of different types. These are just some examples of the ones most chosen by our customers, but there are other types available for VALL removable buildings.
- Sliders. They can be of different types and, in addition to being a simple access element, in some cases they have very relevant extra features. For example, they can help prevent cross contamination or be flame retardant. In addition, they take up very little space and speed up the passage.
- Sectional, the doors open upwards towards the ceiling. They allow the access space to be maximized and for this reason they are widely chosen for vehicle entry and exit areas in industrial and logistics warehouses and in aircraft hangars or for the storage of vehicle fleets.
- Instant-pass, the preferred option for spaces that require keeping the interior cool. For this reason it is one of the preferred ones for some processes in the agri-food and pharmaceutical industry, although they can be used in warehouses with other uses.
- Swings, including swing ones.
- Guillotine doors. There are different types and finishes, among which are textile and metallic.
Loading docks
In logistics, industrial and even commercial warehouses, the loading dock is a necessity. That is why it is one of the accessories for removable warehouses that you should know about.
There are different types of loading platforms that can be adapted in size to the needs of each client with a ramp with industrial retractable tents that can be installed in your removable VALL warehouse. The structures can be made of painted steel or, if you prefer, with a galvanized finish. They can also have rubber bumpers to improve safety, which is a very practical accessory to cushion impacts.
Coatings
Coatings made of steel, aluminium, textiles… Each one of them provides some characteristics that in turn carry some advantages. Depending on the needs and use of the warehouse, there are some of them that are the most advantageous for each company.
Gutters
It is a key element for the collection of rainwater, either for the rainwater to reach the external drainage areas, to a drainage area or to a catchment area for this water for later use. This prevents them from accumulating in inappropriate areas and prevents humidity and problems.
These rainwater collection systems are usually made up of longitudinal gutters and downspouts made of PVC or sheet metal and may even have a system for joining warehouses by means of a canvas gutter with its own downspouts.
Lighting: accessories for removable buildings to improve visibility and safety
Lighting is one of the most important accessories in a removable building, since improving light is essential for good visibility. And this, in turn, improves safety and promotes comfort in work spaces. In addition, for some tasks in the venue it is necessary to provide the space with a specific type of lighting.
This lighting is usually provided by halogen or LED-type systems. And to this we must add emergency lighting, which in many cases is also mandatory to comply with safety legislation.
Removable protections for warehouses
The importance of these accessories for industrial warehouses lies in their ability to absorb impacts, for example from vehicles or forklift trucks. In this way, damage to the structure is prevented and the risk of accidents for the operators is also minimized.

There is a wide variety of air conditioning equipment from which to choose the right one for the needs of each space and client, taking into account issues such as the size of the place, the type of energy used, its consumption, its cost and other factors.
